What are your Office hours?

We schedule well and acute/sick visits every day of the week except for the weekends.

Who takes after hours calls?

As of now if you would like to reach the doctor after hours (Monday-Friday 5pm to 9am, and all day Saturday and Sunday) you call our answering service at 650-617-4202 who will reach the on call doctor. In the future an advice nurse line may take after hours calls and connect to the on call doctor as needed. We do charge a 20 -25 dollar fee for all after hours calls.

We are fortunate in the Bay Area to have access to many excellent after hours locations. Listed below are a few locations you can go to for after hours care.

Who sees the baby after he or she is born in the hospital?

The Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH) Hospitalists see the newborn after birth and while the baby is in the hospital. Our Pediatricians are very much in touch with them during that time and you are welcome to contact us if you have any questions while you are in the hospital. Our Office will coordinate an appointment soon after discharge depending on how the baby is doing. We have much confidence in the care of LPCH team and you will be in good hands.
